Battlefield has been around for a long time now and throughout the years we have seen the series evolve from standard multiplayer matches to gigantic 24 player onslaughts complete with vehicles (both land and air), various class integrations and solid campaign modes. BioWare’s promise of an epic, sci-fi trilogy began back in 2007, where players saw Commander Shepard skirting across the galaxy to save organic life in Mass Effect. Army of Two debuted back in 2008 and brought with it a new tactical form of gunplay mayhem starring only you and your partner. If the old saying “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” had any indication on how developers felt than Sony should be extremely thrilled to know that Dante’s Inferno is a very flattering God of War title. That’s not to say Dante’s Inferno copies God of War exactly down to the tee, but it does borrow heavily in the most important aspect of the game: combat.
